Burl Grain HPL Laminate 1220x2440
Burl Grain HPL Laminate 1220x2440
A high-figure oak decor built from looped cathedral pattern, not straight grain. It reads as figured timber from across a room - with none of the sapwood, checks and patches a real burl sheet brings to the bench.

Figure, Not Just Grain
Straight grain reads as wood. Looped figure reads as timber worth paying for.
The loops open and close across the sheet, so a cabinet front catches the eye the way a veneered one does - not a flat stripe.
Real burl arrives with knots, checks and open holes that have to be filled before finishing. This sheet has none of them, sheet after sheet.
Held on pallets in matched batches, so a whole project ships in one tone instead of waiting on a veneer lot to appear.
Laying Out a Figured Panel
With looped pattern, how you cut matters more than on a plain grain. Three rules that keep it looking expensive.
The tight curve should sit toward the top of the panel, where the eye lands first. Turned sideways it reads as a mistake.
On a two-door run, flip the second panel so the figure meets in the middle. It looks intentional; repeating the same crop looks printed.
Plan cuts so the densest part of the figure stays whole. Trimming into it leaves a half-loop that no edge band can save.
Look Closely at the Loops
The figure should carry tone variation inside each loop - light at the crown, warmer where the pattern bends. A single flat colour per loop is the giveaway of a cheap print.
Ships as laminate only, or pre-bonded to plywood, MDF or particleboard.
